It is so effortlessly smooth and integrated with those fine slightly powdery tannins, fine-grained oak and medium to full bodied fruit. The fruit sweetness is cut by the oak which harnesses it perfectly through to its finish."

The blend works in perfect harmony, displaying a slightly blue fruit nuance over the deeper intensity of the black fruits. It is so beautifully smooth and almost velvety on the palate with silky tannins gently caressing the fine tannins in support of the soft fruit. Effortless and very long. An extra year between tasting reveals more."

 | | 2019 BILL BAILEY SHIRAZ CABERNET | "This was a rather closed vintage when first tasted, yet this wine has emerged from its shell. Lots crammed into this shiraz cabernet blend, yet it delivers with such poise and refinement. Slightly floral notes with a hint of mint julip and dark chocolate. The palate has a subtle oyster shell graphite thing working into the dense fruit. Integrated with a real energy that drives to a long finish."
